Jan Blazek’s educational background is in Fashion Merchandising - Business at California State University Long Beach and she also pursued Elementary Education at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. She has been beautifying homes & windows in the Chicago area for over 20 years.
Jan feels everything in our world has a natural order and rhythm. Design is an important way for each of us to bring order and balance into our own lives, specifically into our homes. Design allows us to express ourselves by surrounding ourselves with the things that we love, to create a space that is uniquely ours. Our lives are enriched when our home is aesthetically pleasing to us, and it becomes a place where our spirit is nurtured.
Jan works with the client together closely during the design process to ensure a one-of-kind design. The client then, not only has an opportunity for questions and input, but also gains confidence in making their own design choices, within the parameters they now understand. It is Jan’s desire that her clients feel ownership of their completed project and that it has their unique stamp. Her goal is that the clients feel a sense of pride in what has been accomplished together.
