Ask Lynn Ward how she works with a client—answer: “Listen, listen and listen!” Lynn accomplishes this through home visits, space planning and drawings to articulate the design. She strives to understand her clients' needs and does extensive research to find just the right materials and resources to exceed expectations for each and every project.
Lynn works to incorporate all aspects of the design process to every project, regardless of the scale. Economic, aesthetic and functional considerations all come into play as soon as the client begins to explain what they are hoping to achieve. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients make a personal statement through their home.
As a lifetime student, Lynn studies drawing, painting, floral and interior design. She loves creative challenge and remains up-to-date on emerging design trends as a student member of ASID. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Fine Art from San Jose State University in California.
Lynn Ward has enjoyed painting wall murals and furniture for the last 15 years. Additional hobbies include reading, gardening and engineering tablescapes for special parties. One example of a beautifully designed table can be seen in her winning entry for Honquest’s designers challenge tablescape contest this past Fall.
