Maureen Donlon has an Associates Degree in Applied Science, majoring in Interior Design from Harper College and has been on the Honquest staff for fifteen years.
She believes the most important tool for the designer is the ability to really listen to a client. It is imperative that the designer determines key factors before beginning a design project.
The Designer must establish how a room is to be used, a client’s furniture style preference and time and budget parameters. The relationship between the designer and client should be one of trust, honesty and respect. The experiences should be fun and positive with the clients confident that their designer will work with them to create a beautiful, workable space.
Maureen is also the Honquest Independent Design Coordinator, and works with independent designers and their client’s to facilitate orders to flow smoothly from concept, through the detail ordering stage, to the white glove delivery and installation that Honquest Furniture for Living is known for.
