Nancy Sibrava believes that GOOD INTERIOR DESIGN is a balance of spatial elements (architecture, windows, furniture), highlighted by a mix of surfaces (wood, stone, glass), complimented with color, pattern and texture. To complete the design, every room should be accentuated with lighting, artwork and accessories.

The BEST APPROACH for a successful design project is good client/designer communications. Listening to a client express their views and preferences ensures the development of an interior ambiance that reflects the personality and life style of the owners.

Nancy is an expert at designing interiors using a creative mix of furniture, floor coverings and window treatments. Working with the client's color palette, she selects a wonderful mix of patterns and textures that balance these elements and create a layered and intimate environment in each room.

To this end, Nancy will design a floor plan that is a blueprint to making these ideals a reality. Working from this plan, clients feel they can 'see' the room develop as decisions are made on the interior elements. "My goal is to make each client's home a reflection of THEIR values and preferences."

Nancy holds an Associates Degree in Interior Design, is a Licensed Interior Designer in the State of Illinois, and has achieved the designation of Certified Residential Designer through the CQRID Exam as given by the Interior Design Society (IDS).

She has worked in the field of interior design and remodeling since 1981. She has extensive knowledge of home and office design elements including construction details and finishing choices.
