This spring, the Honquest showroom will showcase pieces of the new Althorp (pronounced Ahl-thrup): Living History Collection. It is based on antiques and heirlooms in the 500 year-old English ancestral home of the Spencer family to which Winston Churchill, George Washington and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, have ties.
The collection by American manufacturer Theodore Alexander offers replicas
and adaptations of the antiques and heirlooms in 90 room Althorp.
Casegoods include an array of veneers and solids including a reproduction
of the Washington chest abandoned when George's great-great grandfather
emigrated to America. The original now holds cricket equipment owned
by Diana's brother, Charles.
Visit the Honquest showroom soon to see the exquisitely designed Althorp Collection and experience the thoughtful, timeless beauty these antique reproductions and heirloom pieces might add to your home.
